Deviation Actions
Not much of an update, just really a little not to say WE SURVIVED LONDON. It's hard for us northerners, you know, who're used to clean air and water and people who's first action to get someone to move isn't to ask them but to kick their suitcase.
I say all this, but I actually really love London as a place! I just get bitter every time I come home and my snot is black...
So yeah, HYPER JAPAN! I think I can speak for all of us when I say we had a pretty good time... fawning after all the things we couldn't buy ;A;! The event itself was really well ran, they had a lot of very awesome industry presence and the food was SO GOOD.
As for the cosplay, there were barely any there across the weekend from what I saw, aside from those entering the competition. This was kind of a shame, I really wanted to get some practise with my 50mm ): Thankfully sarmander was on hand for me to drag into the rain~ 8D So some typically damp England should be appearing some time soon.
As for the competition itself, I didn't get many decent photos, but I will be waiting for Taru and Alielle to get settled at home again where I can take some pictures of their brilliant THIRD PLACE COMPETITION COSTUMES *Applauds*. Very, very well done to them, after all the hard work they put in they completely deserve it~
That just leaves pondering of the next con... Which is Auchinawa! Our convention chillfest. Can't wait to see all the southerners who're actually travelling up this year, too~~ Will have to make it the best Auchi ever so they come back >D

A New Start!
News
I probably should have updated this a long while ago, but I've actually moved accounts to my own!
For a long while I've been pretty much using this shared account to speak to people, upload my photography and network with other cosplayers and photographers. It's always been slightly awkward and difficult to tell who should be answering what questions and whether it's really my place to make announcements about cosplay on behalf of the others who never really use this account anymore...
So, since it's mostly been me on my bill for quite the while now, I figured I might as well strike out on my own finally and get my own username; ever
Happy New... Um...

So... The new year has come and gone.... How are you all??
We, as a collective, haven't been up to much other than organising photoshoots and working on the new year's cosplay! First up is Tales of Vesperia, which we're showcasing half of the group at Midlands Expo next weekend! That's come up bloody fast... The rest of the group will be getting together at KitaCon and after that we'll be heading for the hills and a big shiny photoshoot~!!
Other than that, it's just going to be one huuuuuuuuge power hour until KitaCon itself. I'm hoping I can sneak in some practice photoshoots before then, but I'll be lucky between uni and the weather
An Update of Sorts!
News
Hello! Do not be alarmed by the completely out of character update I'm about to do! I just wanted to get a few things down on paper - uh, well, you know what I mean - before I forget!
At the moment, hitachiin's Beatrice costume is entered in the ACP Umineko competition. She'd very much like that fanbook, so if you love her then please vote here (Under Felixious)!
Another thing, after various talks of Japan and money and how we're all too poor to even breathe we've been looking into an alternate holiday to save up for in 2011. With some dumb luck we'll be hitting New York for 2 weeks and stopping over in Baltimore for Otakon in July~8D
Post-Convention ENTHUSIASM~!!
News
We're back! And under a foot of snow! And snow means.... Photoshoots! Hopefully the cold weather will hold on for a tiny bit longer for us to get organised for a few different picture splashes.
Auchinawa was last weekend, and though it wasn't the most eventful convention, it was the traditional laid back laugh we always sign up for. Cosplay was pretty sparse; I think out of the 500-something attendees there couldn't have been more than 50 on any given day!
It was nice to see some old faces, though, and wear costumes without any particular agenda! And weirdly, I don't think we've come away from a Con before with such enthusiasm to work

When were you there? We were there Saturday from like... 11am-2pm and the ONLY person we bumped into was Tom 3_3 (which was lovely of course, but I was expecting to see more people)
